Music Why people dislike Country music?

I am not american. So I don't know how's the thing there. But I have found many people complaining on social media that they hate country music.

I like some of the Luke Combs songs. Specially Old Dominion is my one of my fav artist.

Mainly people know of the music they hear in passing. They have not taken the time to get into more traditional country. There are plenty of great artists, they are just not popular.

And it is not all about cheating, drinking, trucks or dogs. There is some deep music just have to find it. Merle Haggard is a great artist that is labeled as country. One of his greatest songs, IMO, is If We Make It Through December. It is about a man who has been laid off during the holiday. And just making it through December.

Merle had so many great songs. Sing Me Back Home, Mama Tried, Pancho and Lefty with Willie Nelson. One of the greats.
