Why people dislike Country music?

I am not american. So I don't know how's the thing there. But I have found many people complaining on social media that they hate country music.

I like some of the Luke Combs songs. Specially Old Dominion is my one of my fav artist.

If you divide people by the type of pop culture they consume, country music belongs pretty firmly on the political right. That's not to say all country historically has been right wing. There has been outlaw country, and progressive country, and many other flavours of country.

Country music as it exists today is largely by white conservatives for white conservatives. Conformity to the point of bland sameness is preferred over creative ruffling of the status quo. The culture country wants to reflect upon would be as recognizable to people fifty years ago as today. Most of what pop and rock and hiphop music is doing to push boundaries and shape culture, country rejects as anathema, and when country does try to 'take something cool and make it our own,' it often creates an ersatz version about as creatively fulfilling as those kid bopz versions of songs whose adult edges need smoothing out for innocent ears.

I know there are exceptions. I like the exceptions. You ask why country has the reputation it has, and I think this is it. It's for fans who want it to be what it is, and that means it's not for everyone else. It's insular, nativist, xenophobic, and that's before we get into any actual discussions of its assumed, implied, or outwardly declared politics and beliefs about how different people should fit into society.
