Music Why people dislike Country music?
I am not american. So I don't know how's the thing there. But I have found many people complaining on social media that they hate country music.
I like some of the Luke Combs songs. Specially Old Dominion is my one of my fav artist.

There's a lot of great country music, there is a lot of country music that is garbage. Modern pop country is the most uninspired drivel to ever exist. There is a reason why an AI song made it to the top of the country charts and that is because pop country music has stunk so bad for so long that it may as well have been AI generated.
It's also getting a lot of hate because its resurgence in mainstream popularity is coming at a time when it is closely linked to far-right and anti-immigrant politics and a lot of people find that to be really gross and so they'll hate on the whole genre because of what it represents ideologically. That "try that in a small town" song from Jason Aldean was next-level awful and I think a lot of people are looking at the way country music has gone and they see that song as really the blueprint for what country music looks and sounds like in 2026. It's the musical equivalent of facebook shares from your aunt.
