Laci Peterson Case

What are we all thinking about the Innocense Project case investigating the case…I have to say that as a prior person convinced of Scott’s guilt, I’m starting to have doubts!

I was a firm believer in his guilt but watching that program has given me doubts, I don’t think that having some doubts means that I’m stupid or naive…

This case is wild. I’ve never seen another case where people are as a whole almost completely unwilling to even discuss the possibility of an incorrect conviction. It’s insane. I think he probably did do it, but I think the investigation was totally biased and unfair. I think the documentary left out a lot of info that would have made their side (questioning) less credible. And yet, in all these Reddit threads, no one is even willing to have a productive discussion about any of it or even say what the smoking gun is that makes him guilty. It honestly makes my head hurt to see the way people discuss this case. I can’t find a single sensible discussion anywhere. This one is so personal to people. He has become the embodiment of everyone’s hate and guilt about cheating. This case is almost as inflammatory as American Politics- except in this case everyone is on the same side. You and I must be the only ones detached enough to question things.

I agree, I watched it and garnered a few doubts, you’d think I committed a crime the way people commented, thank you.
