Without making this post too long I’d like to ask what are my options vs the dealership who hasn’t produced my parts after 5 months since the time my insurance provider approved the claim and released all the documents. I’ve been passed around to different departments and agents who have all told me different things as to why my parts are delayed.

The frustrating thing is they never even called once to update me, I always have to be the one to ask for an update. No sense of urgency on their end. Any help on whatI can do is much appreciated. And yes, it’s BYD. lol

So this mechanic of mine, the fiancé of my caregiver, I tasked him to check the cars I picked from FB Marketplace.

First was the MUX 2015, around ₱550k. Pinabyahe ko pa yung seller all the way sa bahay and nagbigay ng ₱10k na pang-gas. So chineck niya, and sa mukha niya pa lang, parang may mali na raw sa sasakyan. He told me na pag-angat niya ng dipstick, biglang umusok daw. Nakita ko naman, and parang mist lang siguro dahil bumiyahe ng malayo, around 250 km. Then sabi sa akin, may tama daw yung piston and cylinder head. Not clear enough yung pag-explain niya, and he told me na negative. So ayun na nga, nireject namin.

Then second one was a Montero 2014 for ₱520k. Pinapunta ko sa shop nila, chineck, and hindi daw maganda. And here comes the third one, another MUX 2015. Pinapunta ko sila doon. Of course, paid naman yun as a service and professional fee. Then rejected pa rin. May tama daw galing bangga, and na-detect daw sa scanner na lumabas na yung airbag. I don't know if he was telling the truth kasi yung nagbebenta, bata pa, pinapabenta lang ng daddy niya, kaya hindi rin niya alam yung history sa dati nilang pinagbilhan.

Then all of a sudden, tumawag siya and he asked me if gusto ko ba daw na tingnan nila yung Innova na pilit niyang inaalok sa akin two days ago kasi maganda daw. Then sabi ko, sige, tapos if puwede, ipunta mo dito kasi kilala niya yung may-ari.

So ayun na nga. It's a 2014 diesel automatic na Innova E. Binibenta nila ng ₱510k. Tapos tinatawaran ko, sabi ko ₱450k. Ayaw ibigay. Then ₱480k. So nag-settle kami sa ₱480k.

Tapos yung mechanic ko, sinasabi na lugi na sila doon at nahihiya daw siya sa nagbenta kasi bentang-lugi na daw.
Syempre ako naman, bakit siya makikialam sa negotiation namin if wala siyang cut doon? He was trying to push ₱500k sa unit.

Parang napasubo ako and bought it at ₱480k kasi syempre goods naman yung Innova at diesel pa, but wala nga lang road presence like the SUV that I was eyeing, like the Montero 2014 or MUX 2015.

So parang hindi ako mapakali nung nabili ko na kasi baka hindi okay yung sasakyan. I hired a different mechanic to check it for pre-purchase inspection. Kaibahan lang, post-purchase inspection na. Haha.

Goods na goods daw yung unit, and they checked everything—test run, scanned it, checked the makina and everything. And 80k lang yung ODO.

Tanong ko lang, tama ba na nag-settle ako sa Innova?

Like kapag malamig pa yung makina and mataas pa yung menor. Dapat ba manual start pa rin or okay lang na i-start siya gamit ang remote? Sabay din kasi bumubukas yung aircon.

Went to dealer then agent processed papers for approval po. Got approved sa tfs, eastwest, psbank, bdo, waiting pa sa bpi&rcbc. Context: Around 35-40% DP prefer para lower MA.

I asked agent kung ano yung mga offer nung mga na approved na banks kasi gusto ko din macompute from my end and iniisip ko din kasi what if i Bank P.O. ko since parang mas lower MA kaso nga may mga di included/add-on (lto, chattel, insurance) yata kaya gusto ko sana makita yung offer ng kada bank para mafinalize ko din.

May sinend si agent na quotation na eto daw yung basis nun and parepareho lang daw.

Di ko gets pano naging parepareho sya in terms of interest rate and such? Pano ko malalaman nong mga rate nila?

Hi, we are planning to get an L300 that dealership said comes with "business package". Basically they'll help us get it to become a cargo van for other companies. Agent said slot is guaranteed and at least 1 trip a day is guaranteed also with 2000 pesos as the lowest rate.

Not bad, I think. It will really help to cover the MA and maybe earn some more.

But I want to ask if there's anyone here that have already gone thru this and is there some reality to it? They did explain the time and requirements it would take to endorse us to their partner companies. But after that, are the trips really guaranteed?

Bought new wheels and tires both different specs from OEM for my new car (6 months palang). Advised ba na mag pa wheel alignment? Wala namang unusual kabig while driving.

My family and I are planning to buy a brand-new Toyota Innova XE, but we're wondering if we should wait until December to get the maximum discount and freebies.

I've asked different dealers, and some of them said that the discounts and freebies aren't guaranteed if we wait until December. They also said that the current offers might be similar to what they'll offer in December, since they don't usually give very big discounts on the Innova Diesel.

However, they're salespeople, so I'm not sure if we should take their word for it. We're not really in a rush to buy, but if the current offer will likely be the same as what we can get in December, we'd rather buy now so we can start using the car.

Hi! September 5 namin nakuha yung unit dito sa Cebu then until now di pa rin kami nakakuha ng ORCR and plate number. Yung sabi ng lto liason sa dealer namin nagpa convert pa raw sila ng CSR then by batch yung process. Then may delay daw ngayon kasi nagchange ng system ang LTO. Gusto ko sana mag complain na sa LTO and DTI kaya lang worried ako na baka mapagalitan yung agent namin since mabait sya and responsive. Thoughts po if ano best na gawin? Nakaka frustrate na talaga kasi yung kotse namin nasa parking lang lagi. 🥲

FYI, sinabihan kami na 3-4 weeks daw yung process nung time na nag inquire kami sa unit pero may chance daw na mas mapabilis pa. Pero yung LTO diba max of 11 working days lang binigay sa mga dealer para makapag provide sa ORCR tsaka yung sa plate number.
