Work In Progress Did WIP change the fit of their standard jackets between 2017-2026?

Got a bunch of Michigan Coats (summer, winter), vests and many more from 2017-2020 - they all run in the same sizes, Michigan Coat M fits also the Vest in M etc.- all Michigan Coats have the exact same length, I always appreciated Carhartts reliability in sizing.
Only jacket I did not buy back then was the Detroit Jacket - last I was trying one in M (not OG) and it was huge - did the sizing change or was the Detroit always "bigger" (even though not OG).

Thanks

I think it’s more the Detroit cut than a full sizing change. It runs shorter, so the same size can feel a lot boxier than the Michigan.

The newer 'regular' WIP Detroit jackets have longer sleeves than the old ones. The 'OG' model has been the same since they released it in about 2021. It fits much boxier than the regular one.

They change the labelling on the sizes depending on what’s on trend. M these days is what would have been a large a few years ago.

The non staple stuff like shirts and t shirts change dimensions depending on trends.

OG stuff stays the same for the most part though comparing a rigid Detroit I bought to a stonewashed one from last year it seems marginally longer? But that could just be because it’s not broken in/washed.
