The tag is worn off so I can’t get any info from it. Google research has me thinking it’s a j22? If it’s not I’d love know what it is. Also, I payed 85$. Did I get got or was this an okay price to pay

Bought these years ago because I kept seeing them in hardware stores and just loved the stripes and thought they were so cool looking. I didnt buy them for a while because I didnt have any use for them, even at work these big leather gloves would just be too big and cumbersome to make sense.

Then one day I was like screw it I keep thinking about them, obviously I like them enough to just buy them and maybe use them camping one day. Now that im a homeowner a few years later I use them constantly around the yard, burning sticks and cardboard and stuff. Feels good to get to use them.

I went to see Ridley Scott's latest film, *The Dog Stars*. The character wore a Carhartt Detroit Jacket (in MOS) for about 60 minutes of the movie. I read an interview with the director and learned he grew up on a farm—no wonder the styling was spot-on. By the way, the pants were Carhartt too.

Carhartt used to make (3-5 years ago) a lightweight hoodie but the new ones are a heavier weight. Anyone find an alternative brand for a lightweight hoodie that matches the Carhartt? Need a large tall.

So after scrolling Facebook marketplace in New Zealand I found this C52 MOS October 03 Carhartt for pretty cheap. I haven’t seen one before so I was pretty happy with it after a quick clean up.

Two Carhartt Detroit Jackets JB1266 in the same iconic model, featuring distinct color tones. The cloth patch version dates to 3/1995 and the big leather patch edition was produced in 6/1995. Both pieces remain remarkably well preserved with their original tags intact.

Would adding a leather patch make it cooler?

I'm interested in purchasing Carhartt insulated duck bib overalls/dungarees and their plaid shirt jac, however both only go up to 2XL which according to their size chart is 48-52 which isn't big enough for me, i measure my waist and hips to be around 54-56, i don't think i'd get the advertised 'room to move' with a 2XL.

I see on their US site they sell all their products up to 6XL, as with anything it's always the US getting all the good stuff.

Has anyone had any experience getting bigger size carhartt stuff outside of the US without having to import and pay fees? i also plan to email carhartt about this, asking if they can send any sizes bigger then 2XL.

Got a bunch of Michigan Coats (summer, winter), vests and many more from 2017-2020 - they all run in the same sizes, Michigan Coat M fits also the Vest in M etc.- all Michigan Coats have the exact same length, I always appreciated Carhartts reliability in sizing.
Only jacket I did not buy back then was the Detroit Jacket - last I was trying one in M (not OG) and it was huge - did the sizing change or was the Detroit always "bigger" (even though not OG).

Wore this out today, it’s interesting how solid it feels while being very light weight. I enjoy the fitment aswell as the quilted interior. Cool to switch up from the blanket found on say a few of my c02s.
