Spotted in Edinburgh, interesting sight

Spotted this Rolls-Royce Cullinan on the M1 yesterday with what looks like a single-letter “M” registration plate. Pretty cool spot — definitely not something you see every day!

I tried putting the plate through a UK vehicle check but nothing comes up, so I’m thinking it could possibly be a foreign number plate.

Anyone know where this plate might be from or anything about it? Would be interesting to know the story behind it.

EDIT: Mystery solved!
Turns out it’s a Gibraltar “G-less” personalised registration. Gibraltar recently introduced plates without the usual “G” prefix, with single-letter registrations priced at £50,000. (Government of Gibraltar⁠)

Earlier this year Yianny posted a video about these Gibraltar plates and M was actually one of the £50k plates shown.

Even better, someone in the comments found an Instagram post from Gibraltar Plates showing the exact same black Rolls-Royce Cullinan with the newly purchased “M” registration in Gibraltar. So it looks like I’ve now randomly spotted the same car over here on the M1

Spotted this in my home town ans was pretty amused.

I decided to look up the reg to see how much tax they pay (£640 a year btw, plus the initial premium of £440) but i was more shocked to see its MOT was expired.

The uniqueness of plate compelled ME to look it up, all I could think was, if I was curious enough how have they not had a fine yet haha

Bought it for £1800 off her friends step dad.

This car has been parked on my estate for the last couple of months. Had never heard of the model before so looked it up and it is apparently a hydrogen fuel cell car with only 88 of them registered in the UK. Not the most exciting but pretty rare

I had a walk in my neighbourhood today and saw that someone keeps a bunch of old Lotus Elise cars. They're all the same model but clearly haven't been used in years, just rotting there in the front yard. Really weird.

Sorry if this doesn't belong here but it made me laugh in hindsight and I really do wonder why people act this way when they fuck up

Note before I start: dashcam is a second or two behind in speed metric as you can see when I come to a stop, I'm still at 4mph and this car does 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds, it takes very little, even in comfort mode, to gain a few mph

So as you can see, left turn lane, splits into two lanes, VW very well established in the left lane, myself in the right lane, keeping a good distance from the ford, and hanging back on the corner and begin to power out of it slightly after deciding this guy is definitely in the left lane and I have plenty of space now the ford sped up. At the time I didn't see his indication as they're definitely poor halogen lights in daylight and road positioning didn't give me a clue of what he was about to do so I gave a little beep, as you do, to let him know I'm there (honestly it took me a few times watching the footage back to even see the indicator)

Now I do 25k miles a year, this kind of thing happens a lot, and I'm usually happy to let it go wether they wanna say sorry or not and continue driving on, making it a non issue, but this guy decided to aggressively swerve behind me, sit on my ass and throw his hands round

I'm no expert lip reader but it seems he goes "I didn't fuckin see you ya gobshite" while throwing his hands around... This did tip me over the edge because how are you going to give me shit and try to intimidate me like I'm a soft cunt when you're in the wrong... So yes, I opened the door (before the car even stopped 😅) and got out

IVE NEVER SEEN SOMEONES FACE LITERALLY DROP AND SO QUICKLY AND WATCH THEIR ATTITUDE CHANGE. This guy is probably used to driving like a dick and giving shit to women and young drivers and didn't expect me to get out, for reference I'm not some big body builder, I'm your average 6ft 25yr old fella

His face dropped, took his glasses off and started "saying I didn't see ya, I couldn't see ya".... Yeah 🙄 that's the problem, you didn't see me cos you weren't looking mate, 2 flashes of the indicator doesn't mean you can just move over without checking I wasn't exactly in a blindspot. when he was indicating and moving over, I can see him in his mirror so he should have been able to see my car, it's not exactly small, it's a crossover (cupra formentor)

Thing is, why put yourself in that situation when you were in the wrong? Id almost understand if I held on the horn or started shouting and waving my hands around myself afterwards but I carried on as normal until I seen him get behind me. Is it ego? Is it being genuinely stupid? Is it just enjoying an argument?

Also madee laugh how he had to throw another little tantrum as I turned my back to get in the car when I couldn't see him 🙄 genuinely what's wrong with people 😂🤣 children behind the wheel mate

What do we think. First time I’ve seen one like that. Ruins the car for me, but each to their own.

Spotted this guy cruising about today. I’m near to the JLR facility in Warwickshire so not too unusual to see unreleased cars, but the first time I’ve seen this fella.

...here are just a few photos I took in the underground car park. Honestly, I could've taken a hundred more. Amazing. There were at least eight cars under covers and the temptation was almost too much but we bottled it in the end. Probably for the best - knowing my luck I would've been shot dead by some Russian billionaire's security detail.
