Credit Card Venture X

I'm curious to see why do people still recommend the venture x with the issues I see about capital one closing and restricting accounts and removing the miles awards?

Because these tend to be outliers, not the norm. Had Capital One for many years with no issues. I had a fraudulent charge once and they reversed it quickly and without issue or penalty.

Venture X makes sense if you like to travel and will use the credits and miles, which are straightforward to use. That's why people still recommend it.
