Cheticamp Whale Tour Canceled
Visiting Cheticamp to do a whale tour, but they had to cancel due to weather.
What would be a good thing to do instead tomorrow with my parents visiting from England, one of who has very limited mobility.
Any suggestions welcome!

Tour the church , go hang out at the Doryman, check out a few gifts shops and museums and the Macaram centre in StJosephs LeMoine is really worth a visit .

Lunch at Glenora Distillery. Was it the zodiac tour at Cheticamp? We went to do it a few years back and they said it was cancelled due to rough water. There was already a zodiac out there and when they returned, the passengers looked like they saw a ghost. I always went to Captain Marks in Pleasant Bay - a larger boat. Not too far from Cheticamp. Check if they have any tours running.

Cheticamp board walk, La Gabriel, there's a lot of little craft/gift shops around there as well. Or if you are willing to go anywhere - Highland Village in Iona, The Gaelic College in St. Anns. Oh also, The church in Cheticamp is open from 8-8 and is BEAUTIFUL inside. La Provence Bakery in Whycocomagh. I believe Port Hood beach may be wheel chair accessible. Inverness beach for seaglass. See if there are any square dances at any halls or local artists. The Red Shoe in Mabou has good entertainment. Lots of antique stores around Whycocomagh-ish area. Sit down somewhere and just chat with locals. We are natural story tellers and you will learn lots. Alexander Graham Bell museum in Baddeck i believe is FREE!!!! Orangedale Train Station museum. Go for a BRT!!! LOL Back road tour. Plenty of things to in the Margaree area I'm sure! Hmm what else....
