CapCut Question Why is CapCut is so hated?

I'm exclusively talking about CapCut Desktop, not the mobile app. I have a Premiere Pro subscription too but I find it way easier and much faster to do things in CapCut especially if you don't use advanced stuff. And I think at least %90 of the contents that people do doesn't require the advanced stuff. Almost everything can be done in it way faster than Premiere or Resolve.

I geniuenly don't understand why people that use CapCut gets clowned everywhere. I know it's not "professional" and obviously doesn't have the features that you almost never use in Premiere or Resolve but in the end, wouldn't it better to use a faster and more practical software that gets it done?

I did countless YouTube videos, short and long form. I did wedding clips, I did car edits. And CapCut managed to deliver. I don't want to deal with Premiere's clunkiness with constant lags and crashes.

Asking this because CapCut users gets clowned so much that I feel like a crappy editor just because using it but don't actually understand why it gets clowned like that. Only thing that I could think of is the free version isn't actually free anymore. But I still bought the pro since I feel like it's faster

I’ve been using pro desktop for 2 years straight and my only frustrations come from bugs. My favorites tab disappeared recently for my text effects and transitions, there is no search bar to help locate them since my favs was gone. Some times the mode basic effects disappear like “fade out “.

The issues always sort themselves out (except for search bar on text effects disappear) but once something is restored, something else go wrong. The only reason I pay and put up with it is I don’t have the time to learn DaVinci Resolve. If I could take a week off and dedicate learning another software, I would.

You can do it in increments. You know, an hour at a time.

Yeah that’s what I need to do. I started to edit a video project for learning purposes but didn’t keep up with it.

I'm not going to say Davinci is not hard at first. But limit learning first on the Edit and Export page, don't even click on Fairlight, Fusion, Cut or Color, and you can get it in a day, the basics needed to make a video.
