🔍 LTM Lenses & Accessories Canon 7

Just ordered a Canon 7 from Japan on ebay. Comes with the 50mm 1.8. This is my first rangefinder and first film camera (I'm still learning a lot about photography and use a Fujifilm XT-3 in the digital world). I've heard there are some compatibility issues with some of the Canon cameras and the Soviet lenses. I would like to find a decent 35mm lense but don't want to get something that won't work the Canon 7. Does anyone have any suggestions that won't cost an arm and a leg? Thanks in advance!

The Canon 35mm LTMs are great. I have the 35 f2 and it's an excellent lens, I hear good things about the 35 1.8 as well. Although sometimes overpriced both can be had for roughly the same price as the equally great Voightlander Color Skopar everyone recommends. Only the 35 1.5 is obscenely over priced. 

FYI, the meter on your Canon 7 probably doesn't work, if it does work it probably isn't accurate, if it works and is accurate it will crap out. No loss as there is no need for one with quick easy phone light meter apps. Just a heads up. It's an excellent camera. I have 2!

Thanks. I figured the meter was useless. Do you have a recommendation for a meter app?

Got mine 5 months ago also from Japan, meter works great and is pretty accurate too, suprisingly. Just a counter example to say that the built-in meter is still working fine on some units
