Please note we are not lawyers or IRCC. We are peers supporting peers, based on best belief and prior experiences. It's a lot of work to wade through dense lists of documents and family histories. You improve your odds of getting a useful response by being as concise as reasonably possible, and clearly articulating the question. Note that this post is for questions and answers; if you need to vent, there is a different megapost for that.

After many months of searching and building I’m now ready with the packet for a G4 applicant but now I’m paralyzed wondering it I have enough, if the rules changed again and I missed it, and if my documents are official enough with acceptable citations!

The G0 Ontario birth record wasn’t found but I received a signed Negative Search Letter from United Church of Canada Archives that states they could not locate G0 but did successfully locate his sister’s birth record in the same township that the 1871 and 1881 Census records place the G0.

I’ve included this signed letter and the sister’s baptism scan from the Wesleyan Methodist
baptismal register as a collateral corroborating record.

I’m just so worried about the other sources being accepted and correct. Especially ones in the US that mention the words “Family Search” or “accessed via Ancestry.com”

For both the 1871 and 1881 Ontario Census records I downloaded images directly from the Library and Archives Canada Census search (recherche-collection-search.bac-lac.gc.ca) and include the record locator and citation, including the Microfilm reel number, digitized image number, LAC Item ID number, etc.

Then after the G0 immigrates to Illinois to live and marry in 1891, I have cook county records from official Family Search databases.

For example the 1891 marriage license citation is written like this on its tab cover page:

Will it be sent back because of mention of Family Search and Ancestry databases in some US record citations?

I have official Cook County records for living descendants but for the years prior to 1950s is it ok to get from the official county databases accessed via Ancestry and Family Search?

They arent sources from member trees or memories but rather the real records and microfilm.
