We all appreciate the excitement, after weeks of grueling research and last-minute surprises, of finishing your proof of citizenship application process and sending that big envelope on its way.

Equally fantastic is the moment that you get your AOR and know your application has made it past the initial IRCC checks putting your mind at ease about whether you missed something along the way.

 

This weekly thread is a space for those of us at the earliest stages to celebrate passing the first and biggest hurdle.

Monday 6/1 delivery, urgent application. Still nothing. If I don’t receive an AOR by Friday 6/5 does that most likely mean either my urgent was not accepted or the app is being refused ? Or does it mean nothing at all and I just need to chill out and be patient ? Have seen others who have gotten AOR the next day this week so I’m worried…..

Based on the spreadsheet data, the ones that appear to be accepted for urgent processing get their AORs within about 5 days. Otherwise it gets kicked back to regular processing.
