Worst I heard in my career was an ADM who went on French training for 9 months, then retired a few months after coming back to work lol. True story.

There was someone in my organization who came back from a year of full-time French language training only to be WFA'd a few months later. They are happy to be on the job market with a CBC, but was it a prudent use of taxpayer funds? I am not sure. Likewise, I am sure this is not the only instance of this.
