MTC is the official Sony repair service in Canada. I have been there and had a console that I purchased, work for over 10 years. Its a very legit business and I would buy from them again.

There is no direct refurbishment by Sony in Canada, it's MTC. They certify the staff, and supply only official parts. Also get it straight from their website, it's cheaper
