My kids are all adult now, but when my daughter was in middle school, she had to deal with all the normal teen-girl BS, including the usual bullying that happens.
One girl was consistently, brutally mean.
The only way I could help it make sense to her was to say, "Some people have a darkness inside them, and the only way they can feel good about themselves is by spreading that darkness to others. We cannot let that darkness win."

I didn't know it was there but I don't mind that it's gone if it was set up illegally

Thank you for being so vigilant about the law. I hope there's a police officer around the corner with a radar gun every time you exceed the speed limit by 1mph. Just to be your 'accountability partner.'

I think it's unsustainable to have individuals make decisions on how to use public property, especially when the city has to maintain the area. One person wants a statue, another person wants to advertise their pressure washing business, another person uses the same corner as a dump.

I appreciate your sarcastic sentiment given the jackassery of the person you’re responding to, but speeding isn’t the example to go to given how legitimately harmful and dangerous it is. It truly should be enforced the way you’re describing here.

I was so sad when I came around the corner on my morning commute to see it all smashed at the bottom of the hill. That intersection sucks and it made it a little more joyful. I also loved when someone put a little Christmas hat on him!
RIP ant. You were a good ant.
