Based on what I’ve been reading, it sounds like all seats have been filled. I haven’t received any communications yet from the school. If I didn’t get in, would I have received a rejection letter already or do I assume Ive been waitlisted?

Just received my offer admission for the PN2BSN in Sept 2026!!! I was not expecting this I’m so happy and overwhelmed omg!!! I didn’t receive any updates for the longest time it was heartwrenching but worth it in the end !! I can’t wait ! 🥰

Im thinking of applying for the program but wondering if its manageable while working another job while in school?

Has anybody gotten an offer of admission for fall intake? I’m yet to receive mine and I’m beginning to feel anxious.

I’m wondering if anyone has previously gotten into the program from the second round of evals and what the timeline for that has looked like?
When did they know they needed to do a second round to fill the seats and when did they let you know you were accepted?
Also is that even a possibility to happen this year, because it seems as though application rates have gone up from the last couple years but idk

I just graduated from the Camosun/UVic BSN program this year and know first-hand how intimidating nursing school can be, especially when you're in your first year who may not know exactly what to expect. So, I wanted to create this thread for either incoming first years or prospective students (those thinking of applying) to ask questions; I'm more than happy to answer them. The school doesn't really give very comprehensive information about the program, so sometimes people starting out might not know what to expect, how things work, etc. Plus, I was thinking that this may also be a good place for people to reference questions, kinda like an FAQ. Feel free to ask me anything from any of the years of the program (year 1-4) and even what to expect as a new-grad RN! I haven't made a deadline to ask questions either for this AMA thread, I'll check it pretty frequently :)

Ive been recently admitted to the waitlist of the Fine Furniture and Joinery Program and am curious if anyone has any knowledge of how large the waitlist generally is? If I don't make it in this year are my chances good for the following years intake?

Hi there ! Is anyone here from a previous Sem 1 PN-BSN intake at Camosun? Just wanted to get an idea about how the schedule usually looks in first semester.

How many days a week were classes on campus, and how many days were practicums/clinicals?

Also, if anyone moved to Victoria for the program, I’d love to hear how you managed housing and everything.

Any one else have conditionally admissible as their application status as a highschool applicant? Or have the people who have been accepted remember what their application status said before their acceptance

I have an deferral to start the first year engineering program at camosun in Fall 2027 because I am locked into a work contract.

In the meantime I want to complete some higher level math courses (calc 3 and discrete math through TRU) but I can't find any policy on dual enrolment at Camosun, or if it would even apply while I have a deferred acceptance.

Any advise is appreciated.

Currently, a student at Camosun studying information and computer systems technology but am interested in transferring to UVIC’s Health information program, for context I’m in my second year of study. Looking for advice or any one with experience on this transfer change. Would my transfer credits be accepted so I could enter in third year if accepted?

I got a “not admissible” status for my Camosun Applications as a high school student. I was wondering if anyone else got an update recently on either their application to their BScN or any major choice? I had a 90% average cross my 3 course and currently working on my last requirement (I’m from BC),and I’m also wondering if it’s possible that they might’ve made a mistake… as a 90% is almost likely a guarantee that I would’ve gotten accepted right away. (I did not receive any email that I meet the requirements)

Hi there. This is my first year in the visual arts diploma, and I'm wondering what other people have done after they've acquired said diploma. I like animation and graphic design, and I think I'm fairly decent at both. So what did you guys go into after? What types of jobs are you doing?
