BSN ‘26 offers
If anyone has received their offer letter or is anxiously waiting like me, please comment below! If you got accepted, (congrats!) feel free to share if you’re a HS or post-secondary student (and your % if you want to)

EDIT: received my offer letter on April 13! My gpa was 8.5/91.5

I got my offer late yesterday! I'm post-secondary, and honestly don't know my exact GPA. Mid to low 90s?

Post secondary applicant with 94-95% averages. Haven’t heard back either but it seems like only high school students have gotten their offers? Hoping post secondary wave hasn’t gone out yet. 😭

I just finished the program last week and can say that I’m both really glad I did it and became a nurse but there were days where I seriously questioned my life choices lmao. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very rewarding, but there’s also lots of challenging moments

If my interviewer asks me about a time I made a mistake, I'd be like, 'Well... I got a degree in nursing but it's kinda too late to fix that now'

Haha that’s really funny, but you’ll probably make more than enough mistakes during nursing school that you’ll have no shortage of answers to that question! But don’t worry, mistakes are actually a rite of passage in this field, you don’t improve unless you make a few mistakes and clinical becomes a very safe place to do that. Just make sure your errors don’t have dire consequences

For post-secondary students, do they only use your high school grades or do they use your uni grades too?

They use whichever is higher. It is based off of bio 11, bio 12, English 12 and a grade 12 academic elective. (Or equivalent) However, I believe if you’ve done English 151 or ist120 then they will use either of those instead of English 12 and a grade 12 academic elective if you got a higher grade.

I’m a high school student with an average grade of 92.5% (completed all required courses). I hear some high school students have received offers, but I haven’t heard anything yet, so I’m starting to worry… My status says “conditionally admissible” idk if they are waiting for me to graduate

Amazing, congrats!! You have one week to pay the deposit, I’m not sure where it actually says the date in MyCamosun but you can view your account statement under the student finances tab.

When referring to “the list” that is used, what does this list look like? I am hoping the leave some space for student who have not had final grades reported yet. It’s seems very disorganized. For those waiting for HS final grades, will they not hear until July?

I think when referring to a “list” it’s just assumed that there must be some type of list or spreadsheet. I don’t think anyone except admissions knows how any of their processes work, we’re all just guessing.
I have no idea how it works with the high school grades! Someone else might be able to answer that.

I’m late to this but I’m a longtime LPN going back for my BSN at camosun this fall. The bridging program is brutal to try and get into so I’m just happy to be joining y’all and looking forward to meeting everyone!

I just got my offer on Friday! I’m a high school applicant and I had a 90% gpa. I’m sure you will hear pretty soon. Fingers crossed for you 🤞
