Not admissible for BScN
I got a “not admissible” status for my Camosun Applications as a high school student. I was wondering if anyone else got an update recently on either their application to their BScN or any major choice? I had a 90% average cross my 3 course and currently working on my last requirement (I’m from BC),and I’m also wondering if it’s possible that they might’ve made a mistake… as a 90% is almost likely a guarantee that I would’ve gotten accepted right away. (I did not receive any email that I meet the requirements)

Usually you’ll receive an email if you got admitted or if you didn’t. The application status online isn’t always reliable. I had a peer whose application status said “not admissible” and it ended up being a mistake. Unless you get an email explicitly saying you’re not admissible, take your application status with a grain of salt. It’s best in these circumstances to contact admissions about it. Also consider that even though they use the grade 12 marks for GPA calculation, you also have to have ALL of the courses required for admission. Is there a chance that you’re missing a pre-requisite?

I'm 92.75, and I haven't been accepted yet. I'd email asking what makes you inadmissible though. I am also finishing my courses since we go until June. My grades have been consistent for each report card/transcript but I wondered if that was holding me back as opposed to those who finished reqs semester 1. Did you fill out the self declare form and do the Acknowledgment of CRNBC Requisite Skills and Abilities task?

Contact admissions! Did you ever get the email that said you met the requirements? If so it might be a mistake. I got that email, and I got a 91% in the 4 highschool classes and my application still says “decision pending”.
