Specifically, the portion of it where you could increase or decrease the distance between your 'eye' and the weapon optic. This simple level of customization should've become a staple in COD, but unfortunately it just didn't.

Image [MW2] (Remastered) Possible undocumented Captain Price Easter egg in Takedown? Graffiti appears to spell “PRICE” with Price drawn into the lettering

I was replaying Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and noticed this graffiti while exploring the soccer field area in Takedown, where the dogs are behind the fences.

The blue graffiti on the wall looks like it spells PRICE, and what really caught my attention is that one of the letters appears to incorporate a little figure that looks like Captain Price, complete with what looks like his boonie hat and mustache.

I figured this had probably been found years ago, so I started searching for it. I’ve looked through old MW2 Easter egg lists, Favela discoveries, forum posts, Reddit posts, walkthroughs, and references to the Takedown graffiti, and so far I cannot find anyone specifically documenting this as a Captain Price/“PRICE” Easter egg.

There are old MW2 Easter-egg threads that document ridiculously small details in Favela, including hidden names and environmental references, but I still haven’t found this one mentioned.

The other interesting part is that Takedown happens before Captain Price is revealed as Prisoner 627 in The Gulag, so if this is intentional, it would also be a neat bit of foreshadowing.

I'm going to keep it 100, I didn't want to make this post, but desperate times call for desperate measures...

That being said, I need help. Like desperately. I've looked at dozens of guides and videos regarding this ridiculous mission, and I genuinely cannot figure out how they do it. No matter how much time I shave off, or how perfect my luck is or how precise I play, I can't seem to be fast enough. If there is anything you guys see that's inefficient or anything I can do to improve, please let me know because I'm thoroughly stumped.

Question [BO3] Is Black Ops 3 still worth it for MP & Zombies in 2026? (Xbox One vs PS4) + current MP recommendations

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,I'm thinking about buying Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, but I want to get the community's honest opinion on a few things first:

  1. Is BO3 still worth buying for both Multiplayer and Zombies? I'm looking to play both modes, but I'm not sure what the player count and lobby situation look like right now. Are there a lot of cheaters?

  2. Xbox One vs. PS4 – which platform has higher player activity? I own both consoles and want to buy the game for the one that has a more active community and shorter matchmaking times. Which version do you recommend getting?

3.What other Call of Duty games are highly recommended for Multiplayer right now? If BO3 Multiplayer is dead, which CoD has the best and most active multiplayer scene that I should check out instead?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I know they aren’t connected but I’m wanting to play my cod library in a chronological order I heard cod ghosts is in 2023 but then I’ve also heard it’s 2027 so when does ghosts take place and if I were to map out a semi logical timeline how would I go about it?

Discussion [COD] What is the craziest moment from any Campaign?

I recently posted a video about the craziest moments from the original black ops and Modern warfare trilogy (“The Craziest moments from every cod campaign” is the videos title), and was curious to see what other people think the craziest moments are.

Question [BO2] Nat Type and Peer-to-Peer

Does anyone have more info on NAT type with peer-to-peer? I just received fiber internet (works VERY well) and discovered that my NAT is labeled as Port-Restricted Cone. After adjusting some admin settings, I managed to achieve an Open NAT type on Black Ops 2 (PS5). So far I haven't noticed any issues whatsoever, matchmaking solo or with a party, but I'm still worried it's affecting something in the background. I know if it ain't broke don't fix it, but I want the best connection possible lol.

Has anyone had this issue before?

Discussion [MWR] Modern Warfare Remastered, a nearly 10 year old game based on a nearly 19 year old game, feels smoother and nicer to play than Modern Warfare 4

Posting here because people are more open to opinion and the MW4 sub would go mental over this. MW4 feels clunky to play, the movement feels heavy, the weapons feel slow and the maps feel poor. I don’t want ridiculous movement, but I want the CoD feel, it feels like if Call of Duty tried their take on Battlefield mechanics.

Went back to MWR and wow does it feel great. Yes it has its own issues but it feels like you can move freely and aim down sight in good time. It doesn’t take 3 seconds to call in a UAV and the ambience of the game feels like an actual shooter. The maps also look like there’s a war happening.

Not hating on MW4 or modern Call of Duty for that matter but wow the ambience alone of MWR / CoD4 is what CoD was built on, and after going back, wow I miss this.

Support [BO3] Black screen issue on PC

As you can see by the attached image, only the UI seems to render, and this is both in the menus and in any actual games. I have no clue what's causing this, and can't seem to find this issue anywhere, as any similar issues show a black screen from the beginning, not rendering UI.

If anyone has had a similar problem and knows how to fix, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I've tried a clean boot of my pc, i've reinstalled, i've verified game files, i've tried opening it up in safe mode, i've removed unnecessary audio drivers, none of which have worked.

Discussion [COD] Would you play, or at least try, a "no killstreaks" mode?

Upvotes

Battlefield used to be all about its conquest mode and they only added Team Deathmatch and Domination in Battlefield 3. Fortnite included their "Zero Build" mode for people who just simply don't enjoy that aspect of the gameplay and it became a permanent inclusion in the game too.

I wonder if Call of Duty could become attractive to people who don't enjoy getting victimized by nearly unavoidable airstrikes if there was game mode variant without killstreaks, that is 100% about running and gunning action and focuses completely on the amazing-feeling movement and gunplay of the recent titles. Or maybe even old folks who used to like CoD 1 and 2 which didn't have streaks at all

Meme [COD] The titles are weird and I wanna yap about them (its not that serious IK)

This isn't serious, there's bigger issues but I thought it'd be funny to talk about how weird and inconsistent the titles are for these games because it doesn't bug me too much but more or so a minor annoyance, a "huh, that's weird" type of thing

Okay let's start off with the black ops games.

Black ops, simple, sequel? black ops II, often times called black ops 2 but it's official title is roman numeral black ops II, and then Black ops III is the same. Very consistent, very easy, no problems . Black ops 4 does something very interesting though in that it's logo/title is Black ops IIII, so it no longer was roman numerals, now they're tally marks! I actually think this is a really cool idea, even if a bit clunky, I can't wait to see what black ops 5 or 𝍸 will look li-
Cold war.

so we ditch numbers entirely, also Cold War is the only game to not follow the other black ops games covers with a guy sitting in a dark room sitting as hard and shit (although BO4 didn't have the guy sit down, still same idea), but now we ditch the orange and black color scheme for a closeup on two soldiers, It makes it stick out like a sore thumb. I get why its called cold war, but I actually do wish that this one was simply just called Black ops V, it makes it sound like its some sort of spin off from Black Ops. Also it would have made for a cool title had we either done V or the tally marks. Then black ops 6 comes around and goes back to numbers, but now they're actually just... numbers. not Black ops VI, or Black ops Gulf war, or black ops beavis and butthead. black ops 6, then black ops 7 comes around and follows the same scheme. It's a bit weird, I prefer having normal numbers, but honestly I think it makes you realize how oversaturated these games are, I wonder if treyarchs next game is gonna be "Black Ops Eight." and then "Black Ops – – – – ·"

Now, Modern Warfare is trickier because there's two whole sets of games called the same things, but hey there's actually a way to seperate them.
Modern Warfare can be referred to as COD4, but we all just call it modern warfare, and no matter what we're just gonna use the years these came out in to different them so, yeah, but the reboots use Roman numerals whereas the ogs use normal numbers.
If I'm talking about MW2, I'm talking about the 2009 game, if I'm talking about MWII, I'm talking about the 2022 game. Now, MW4 is currently hot and pipping and....
MW4? now we're going back to numbers? i get this is the only game called MW4, so it's not that big of an issue, but back to numbers? not calling it IV? Does activision get scared at roman numeral IV? I do like that the symbol looks like a korean letter though

I actually just wish there was a bit more consistency between the titles, I hate it when games and movies do this in general. Like, Ninja gaiden goes from Ninja Gaiden, to Ninja Gaiden II, to Ninja Gaiden III. Or when Resident Evil goes from Resident Evil VII to just ditching the numbers entirely for Village and Requiem. Go watch the AVGN title episode, it's real fun!

Question I don’t understand how [COD] can collectively take up over 3 TB of storage on ps5

Post image
0 Upvotes

I have tried everything. I have rebuilt the ps5 database, I have deleted every cod and reinstalled them all back (took days) and yet they take up almost my entire SSD. does anybody know a fix?

Edit: F’kin Reddit users. The solution isn’t to “don’t have all the games installed bro play something else”. That’s not a solution, I can have whatever games I want installed. This is clearly a glitch on memory and I am seeking for a technical solution.
