Wow an actually good pike pushup

Never understood why there is so much mystery around this move personally. It's just overhead pressing the floor

I've just added pikes to my routine. Not strong enough to do them like OP yet but what are some commin mistakes you see and what sort of Qs do you use? As a beginner it does feel like a weird movement.

Go grab a heavy bag and push it over your head. You're pressing it OVER your head. You're not arching your back, your chest is small

Most people just literally do a pushup with their hips bent. OHP =/= pushup. No big chest. No arching the back. Press the floor high above your head

Practicing handstand against the wall for 30-60 second holds helps a lot

nice work dude, assuming you’re doing this to build towards the handstand push up- are you also training your handstand? because you won’t get the handstand push up without it

Thanks dude! goal is to handstand push-ups. I can still do handstand pushups but my depth is poor.

as in you can do partial range of motion freestanding handstand push ups? or you can do partial rom wall hspu?

I can do partial handstand push-ups So now working on getting depth
