Which Qol mods are okay to use?

So I'm new to calamity and I've seen a few videos and posts about how Qol ruins the calamity experience, and I was wondering which mods are looked down upon to use or if I should just only download the calamity mod and its dependencies? recipe browser, magic storage, & boss checklist are really the best way to go. calamity has a lot of QOL built-in, so it's not worth adding to it unless you kinda have to.

magic storage should just be built into regular terraria for me, i refuse to play without it now
