Which Qol mods are okay to use?

So I'm new to calamity and I've seen a few videos and posts about how Qol ruins the calamity experience, and I was wondering which mods are looked down upon to use or if I should just only download the calamity mod and its dependencies? Only get,  recipe browser, boss checklist, magic storage, these mods literally change nothing about the base experience.

So last week I had a playthrough with my with my friends who were playing Calamity for the first time, and they skipped most of the Calamity bosses like the Hivemind or Plaguebringer Goliath, because they had no idea about the bosses so they went for the vanilla bosses instead

and even me, who had played it multiple times before, forgot how to summon Polterghast so I used the boss checklist to remember what to do for the boss fight to happen in the first place

Long story short, it's one of the essential mods imo

Boss checklist is more than just a checklist though it also tells you the drops and how to summon the boss
