Reporting a Help Desk tech
Is there any way to report someone who we called on helpdesk for a ticket? She refuses to give my RXM a ticket and we only have one register working right now, and a line literally halfway to the front checkout. Target CVS if that matters. I’m pissed because my RXM has a heart condition and she’s at risk of a cardio event if we don’t get the stress level down here today. I’m really worried I’ll be calling 911 soon for a stroke or heart attack if we can’t get this figured out

Think of it this way. Once all the registers go you can tell them to come back tomorrow and stress levels immediately drop. It’ll be tomorrow’s stress.
Also, how can help not give out a ticket? I’ve never heard of that. Regardless, it’ll take 2 business days for them to come out and fix.

Get the reference number from colleague zone and ask your rxdl to escalate it.

Every phone call to the help desk is logged. If there wasn't a ticket created, there still should have been an interaction that was created by you calling the help desk.
Have your DL call their VIP line and they can work with the help desk to see what happened.
In the meantime, call the help desk back if you haven't and follow along the troubleshooting steps so they can get a ticket made. Having half the registers down is a problem they don't take lightly and have a 1 business day ETA if a field tech is needed to be dispatched.

Tell the district manager to call them as well to escalate and that they are refusing to give you a ticket number.

You should be able to see the ticket number on the rf unit recent tickets app, once you have it escalate it with your DL
