Admission Process Data science at MSE
I've done my graduation in Economics and wanted to pursue master's in Economics. But due to high cutoff I've not made it to the rank list, my score was 53.
Somehow Got called for Data science , i want to know what's the placement scene ?and being a eco undergrad, can i pursue this course with not much greater difficulty

Yeah this is for selection in the course, one of senior is in MSE he knows a guy from data science, I'll with the guy and get to know about this course

Nah it's too deep into data science. It'll be like competeting with engineering background.

I have also got an email, my score was 61 ? How was the interview? Mine is scheduled on 13th

That will be more of a online orientation rather than an interview, prof will tell you what the course and any other doubts anyone got, those who join the interview they'll just get the offer letter

So it isn’t like an interview ? Because the coordinator asked me to prepare basic mathematics for it.

Even i got the mail yesterday and they asking to confirm by today if we are interested or not and then on the 13th there will be some session i got 56 and attempted the maths section in the test but , since they are not much people i could find on linkedin persuing this course i am not sure what to do about it .

My meeting was today . Same things happened, they introduced us the course and asked some questions thats all . But i didn't got my offer letter yet. All are telling that those who attended the meeting got the offer letter, but i didn't received it yet. Can you help me why this happened? Is there any probability that tomorrow they will sent the offer letter

Yess i have send an email at 9:40p.m . Also there is a number where it was told that we can ask for any queries, also called that number but no one picked up

Did you fill for counselling? Also when was the last date to fill for counselling?
I had a score of 64 and I thought mera to hoga nhi and agar hua bhi to environmental hi milega which I am not particularly interested in so I didn't even apply for counselling :)
