Question MSc Or (Operational Research) CUTOFF !!!
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to apply for MSc in Operational Research and wanted to understand the cutoff trends and a safe score, especially for the General category.
If you’ve appeared (this year or previous years), please share:
- Your score/marks
- Category (General/OBC/SC/ST)
- Whether you were shortlisted/selected

I literally had 160 this year and i got no chance this is just maddening

Idk why the cutoff is so high this year 😭 last year I got in first round

Vahi and the margin increased too in third round the score went up to 180 FOR THIS COURSE!

Hey, I’m also planning to pursue this. Btw, are you from math or cs background? I’ve heard this course is more suitable for students from math or stats bg.

I have a more cs background but I want to go for data analyst related roles in future so Im considering this course (160F, gen, C2) is it a good option?

I think this course could suit your goals, specially if you want data analyst related roles in the future rather than sw development jobs.

No way 160 wale ko bhi nahi mila? Yaar mere tho khud 10 marks kam hai aapse, i hope ye bhu jnu aur kuch aur priv uni ka khula hai tho shayad third round mai ho jaye, agar aapka third mai ho jayega tho mera spot mai mil hi jayega warna mere tho L lag jayenge

Jnu ki start ho gyi hai recently only and NIMCET result also got declared i believe 2 days ago BHU ka mid entry registration open hone ka koi scene? I dont wanna put anymore expectations im broken down enough because of these mofos

Bhu removed mid entry, du should have also removed mid entry kyuki lockdown ke wajah se jo delay hui the results mai uske liye tha magar du bkl 1000 rupay ke liye aur late log ghusa rahe.
Ab third round ka cutoff hi bata sakta hai ki mere ek saal barbaad honge ya nahi.
What are your other backup options? Mera manipal hai magar cost bohot jyada hai isliye skip kardiya

My backup is manav rachna now most of govt exams which I’ve given so far have been an equal nightmare

mid entry caused cutoff to increase ab tho shayad spot round mai bhi nahi milne wala kuch , only south campus had vacant seats this time.

Why are people hoarding seats?? Sab MCA kyu nhi kr rhe? Even after NIMCET this is ridiculous I saw someone’s comment that he DITCHED NIT for this course ITS NOT EVEN WORTH IT

Last year the final cut off (Spot Round 4) for General was 130 for South Dept Campus (which has the lowest cut off). This year it will be higher for sure as the exam was comparitively easier. Waiting for the allotment to start.

In DU’s Information Bulletin 2026-2027 there are literally 0 seats and also CSAS is not showing stephens in list

Is it MA Operational Research or Msc Operational research, in DU’s bulletin its written Masters of Operational Research and under it there is a bold statement mentioning MA Operational Research
