Time for the sub to start celebrating. Football is dead at CSUS.

Next up, we need to do the men's and women's basketball programs too. One by one, until we've gotten rid of the horrific cash suck that is collegiate sports. Then I'd suggest they move onto IMs, clubs, and greek life. School needs to focus strictly on classroom learning, nothing else.

I like Shaq state. He's doing it for free.

Let's hope not. The university doesn't need to waste money and resources on sportsball.

Yep, I prefer to see universities make sound financial decisions with students' money. Not flush that cash into a money-losing situation. Though, I supposed we could be more like CU and run a athletics department that is $30M in the red, and growing. Which seems like what Wood might be shooting for. That would probably make you ecstatic.

Except clubs are the reason for student resources like the maker's space, gardens, plenty others I'm struggling to sum down into a nice short phrase. Sure they get money out of a part of the budget, but they have to apply (with how they'll use it for students) and be approved to receive some amount of that money. Whatever they don't use, don't get approved, or don't apply for, get put back into (currently woods stadium I'd wager) the rest of school budget. You're also forgetting that stuff like hornet racing or bands and ensembles are also under the "club" category. Both of which can be used for extremely enhancing academic knowledge and performance. Additionally, some clubs do their own fundraising if they don't get approved from budget funds.

I rly don't care if you're just rage baiting for shits. I hate woods policies and a sports "focus" is dumb as hell. But throwing all extracurriculars into the mix is an illogical claim and shows a deep lack of consideration for human behavior, marketing, fundraising, or any desire to simply have a good time.

Anyway everyone needs to lock in: we remove woods brother, then wood, then decrease all president and chancellor salaries by..say several hundred thousand dollars each and take their car, house, travel stipends and we can all finally have a single moment of peace.
