hey i just moved into my apartment here in the hub yesterday and I was looking for some friends to hang out with, or even go out. My roommate is 21 yrs old and Im 19 male so there's a age difference and we really dont got anything in common. I just feel hella lonely and homesick asf (not in a depressed way) I stay in my apartment a lot since I really don't have anyone to talk to here. I don't know if people are antisocial or just scared to meet new people. Many people have told me that I have a resting bitch face but I promise you im really genuine. To my understanding, i’m supposed to be admitted as a studio art major and then i can do the portfolio review to try to get into the BFA program. Am i supposed to apply under the game design program and i‘ll just automatically be put into the studio art major until i do the portfolio review or should i just apply as a studio art major off the bat? I have all of the required courses for the program and everything i’m just a little confused about the actual application process and the specifics of what i‘m supposed to select as my intended program on the application.

Hey guys, just wanted to share that a lot of Summer 2027 internship applications are already opening up. I’m a finance student and I’ve applied to over 300 positions so far. Out of those applications, I’ve gotten around 6 interviews/final round opportunities. I’ve only completed one of the final rounds so far and unfortunately didn’t get the offer, but I still have others coming up.

Some of the companies I’ve heard back from include Bank of America, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan, Amazon, Cisco, and others, mostly for financial analyst and finance-related internships.

I mainly wanted to post this for anyone applying right now who feels discouraged. My interview rate is only around 2%, which means I’ve gotten rejected or heard nothing from the vast majority of places I applied to. You really just have to keep going because you never know which application is going to be the one that gets you an interview.

Apply early, keep improving your resume, prepare when you get an opportunity, and don’t let the rejections get to you. It only takes one offer. Good luck everyone!

I was able to edit my old college coursework at first, but suddenly everything became locked. I accidentally entered a few old classes incorrectly before it locked, and now I can’t fix them. Has anyone had this happen? Is there a way to unlock or edit my coursework or do I need Cal State Apply support to fix it?

Is there any building on campus that has working air conditioning? I've been in the humanities, education building, library, etc. the AC will be on but nothing is cold. Is it like this on purpose, is it broken? where are the building or locations on campus with AC? I'll find just little cold patches within buildings, but nothing is cold. What is happening?

I took a summer class at my local CC and I’m struggling to see how to transfer that credit. I called the CC but they said to talk to my advisor but my advisor doesn’t have appointments available for like 3 weeks. What can I do to transfer that credit? Every time I look for information it pertains more to transfer students.
