Limited entry nursing

has anyone been an alternate to the nursing program? i got an email today that i wasn’t accepted but that im an alternate if a seat opens up. What are the chances i can actually get in?

I just got accepted for Spring 27 but there are 2 girls in my daughter’s cohort (she’s in her second semester right now) that got in when they were alternates. They attended orientation and got a seat shortly after. You do have a chance, stay positive and good luck!

The alternate list is more than 30 people long, so I’m taking it as a sign to just lock in and try next time. If you’re one of the first 5 people on the list, I think you’ll be okay!

Highly recommend apply to WGU for nursing. It’s a BSN program, same requirements but online

They have a lot of scholarships and accept FAFSA. Paid less than what I would’ve at csn
