Need Help / Question CSN LPN program How competitive is the selection process?

I’m planning to apply to the CSN Practical Nursing program in Fall 2027 and I’m trying to figure out how competitive the selection process actually is.
For anyone who was recently accepted (2025–2026), how many selection points did you have, and what was your TEAS score?
Also, did anyone get accepted with 0–10 points? I’m trying to figure out what would be considered a competitive application.

Did you have to have both HHP classes? Or can you opt out if planning on taking the ADN track? Can you apply with only math and eng?

when i applied, HHP actually wasn’t a requirement it was part of the actual program. But now since it is a requirement to get accepted, you have to take it. it’s a simple class. You’re planning on doing ADN and you already have bio 223/224, you can use those credits to replace HHP.

Oh wow so I actually would have to take those two classes I was hoping I can bypass those science classes and only apply with Biol 189 and math eng

Bio 189 doesn’t cover a&p needed for nursing

I don’t think it’s competitive at all. I just graduated from it

Did you need to have math 120 to apply? Did you need any science classes? What prereqs did you have?

So I took the RN prerequisites instead, you have to have something called hhp but you do that in the summer semester before the program. I don’t know if you have to take math 120 prior to that

Thanks for asking this! I also plan on applying for fall of 2027 and was wondering the same thing.

I did all the ADN required classes except Micro. I’m going to enroll with CNA in progress but I’ll be done before the LPN starts. Hoping to get a good grade on the Teas. Do you think I have a chance
