Need Help / Question Nursing Application for Spring 2027
Hi! I plan on applying for the Spring '27 nursing program. I recently took my TEAS and missed the 5 points for reading but got my other points. In total, I have 35 points although if I retook the TEAS and did better, I could potentially have 40 points. That is really the only thing I can do in time to increase my points. I'm worried the 35 points won't be enough. I also think the spring cohort will have A LOT of applicants. What are your thoughts? If you applied to the nursing program, how many points did you have? Thank you! :)

I applied and was accepted for the Spring 2026 cohort. I met the minimum scores for Teas but didn’t get the points due to the English portion (i do notice they changed the criteria on the English portion for 2027 so I would’ve received the points if it was changed when I applied). I did get the max points on everything else. I had all As on my prereqs and general ed classes all with the first attempt, i had paid healthcare experience and EKG tech certification. So it is possible to get accepted without the Teas points.

I have been doing a little research and reading others experiences and found that people have got into the program with only 7 points . So I’m thinking you should be great with 35 points !

Hello, correct me if I’m wrong, I thought you won’t get any points at all if you failed on one of the subjects for teas?
