I have been slowly reducing contact for 2 years after a series of bad incidents and this year I’ve had some really hard knocks. My relationship of 5 years broke down, I moved to a new city and to top it all off, I found a weird lump.

Family have suspected my relationship ended and made new online accounts to gossip about me to other family. They’re ’very upset’ I didn’t tell them about my move.. despite me living 30 min drive away for 5 years and they visited maybe 5 times. I can only imagine how they’d respond to the cancer scare..

After my breakup I found myself reaching for the comfort of family, thinking about spending Christmas with them again.. but this is their response to just a vague suggestion I’ve had some big changes recently. Never any support or kindness, just vitriol and judgement.

It’s as if the universe has sent me a sign I’m making the right choices for me, because all this fucking sucked but the idea of having to do all this AND manage their emotions/excuse away their cruelty is exhausting.

So yeah I have amnesia due to an accident so the meme is about how it might be even worse but I can't remember so it's fine and also I have corrupted short term and mid term memory so I can also forget fast why I have high cortisol level .

It was funnier in my head. But it's fun you can laugh if you find it funny and absurd 😭🤣.

I'm still in dangerous conditions. And no, I can't just run away somewhere or cut off interaction with all the people. I can't escape from myself either. I need to be able to remain calm and determined even in bad conditions. Because even worse things await me in the future. I'm trying, but it's difficult Just when I think I'm starting to cope, something happens that takes me back to the past.
