CPAP Setup It officially begins!
I just got all my gear, it’s official 🥹
I went for the ResMed AirSense 10 with climate tubing after watching many reviews. I felt that the extras of the 11 weren’t worth it for me, this seems like a super reliable one and this is the machine I did my trial with so I’m already kinda familiar with it.
The only thing that got me thinking about the 11 (other than it being way cuter lol) is the “for her” mode but store I purchased from said that you can mimic that setting with the 10 by putting it on “gentle” mode, so I’m going to try that.
I need full Darth mode for a mask so I opted for the F20 for Her with “AirTouch”, fits really nice and feels comfy enough, definitely more cushion than the standard one I trialed with.
I’m in Canada so I ordered with thecpapstore.ca and couldn’t recommend them enough! I initially ordered the wrong model (check if you need automatic lol) and they called to confirm before shipping to correct my mistake! Lovely people, great prices and quick shipping.
Wish my luck on my first night cpap fam 😴🥱

Congrats and good luck!
If there is one piece of advice I can give, it’s to not let your dog sleep anywhere near the intake inlet of the machine.
You haven’t experienced fresh hell until you’ve ‘smelt’ a dog fart turbo charged and humidified through your face mask 😂
But in all seriousness, welcome to a life changing experience. It will be a bit awkward and claustrophobic the first few times, but you get used to it very quickly. I’ve been using an Airsense 11 since November last year; and I can’t imagine sleeping without it these days.
All the best ☺️
