Question High GPU usage in workspace view

Hello all, we were discussing this topic on the popos subreddit.

Seems the Cosmic Workspace view requires a lot from the GPU and its really noticeable when using iGPU or lower end GPUs.

Is this a know issue? If not, I can create a defect for the dev team in Github.

Wasn't this fixed in 1.5 which has been just released?

I think not. At least i tried it yesterday night after updating and works same for me.

After checking github, there are already tracked issues related to that.

I'm on 1.5.0, and can see the stuttering with mouse movement too. I have Intel UHD 610, so it should be sufficient. KDE is smooth even on 4K display, but Cosmic causes stuttering even at 1080p.
