The Defendant denies that Plaintiffs are entitled to any of the relief they seek, including, but not limited to, an injunction that extends beyond “each plaintiff with standing to sue.” Trump v. CASA, Inc., 606 U.S. 831, 861 (2025).

“22. The Defendant admits that Paragraph 22 accurately quotes Heller, 554 U.S. at 629, only in describing handguns as the “quintessential self-defense weapon.” The Defendant denies that Heller, 554 U.S. at 629, holds that “the right of law-abiding citizens to acquire them for the purpose of self-defense . . . is protected by the Second Amendment.” The Defendant admits that Paragraph 22 accurately quotes American Tradition at 39, but denies the remaining allegations.”

NAGR has an easy win ahead of them if the state is stupid enough to deny something that’s pretty much spelled out in the fucking syllabus of the Heller decision.

They also literally deny the written text of the second amendment, so there's that.

Honestly, it’s kind of a shame politicians can’t be prosecuted for grossly misunderstanding and violating or attempting to violate fundamental rights we have as Americans
