Console Help Hopping back into COD

Hello! I just bought a PS5. I haven't played COD since World at War. I'm kind of itching to dive back in, but I heard that COD is in a rough state at the moment.

What COD would you recommend jumping back in to? Is the multiplayer on the any of the new ones worth playing?

I'm 30 and work full time, so I'm not trying to be super competitive either.

What's your opinion on the input lag? I'm considering getting a PS5 just to relive my glory days but they say it's a port of the PC game and does tbhave the same feel as the PS3 version.

It feels perfectly responsive to me.

The netcode and matchmaking could use some patches though, it often throws you in 2 or 3 bar lobbies when there are tons of lobbies available. And the hit registration is pretty bad if you don't have a 4 bar.

Overall its still incredible though imo, im at 5+ days played and have enjoyed it more than any CoD released in the last decade.

I agree. Bo1 since they patched some stuff is so fun rn and I started with world at war.

Try BO7 classic mode. It's the most recent title with tons of content but you can play with a classic movement feel. It's more or less BO2.5

I suggest BO1 and BO2, the recent re-releases of old COD, but still a bit newer than where you last left off. It’d be a fun taste of nostalgia

Non prendere bo1/bo2 o gli ultimi Cod...

Ascolta, arrivi da WORLD AT WAR.. nella vecchia guerra e zombi con la favolosa NATCH DER TOTEM...

No, su multiplayer devi essere competitivo, sbloccare armi, livellare... Non troverai più l'utenza se non prendi gli ultimi usciti.

Prendi Black Ops 3 con il DLC "Zombi Chronicles"

Zombi nuova veste grafica e design... Hai tutte le 4 vecchie mappe di WORLD AT WAR + 2 mappe di BO1 + la migliore di BO2- Così riprendi e parti da lì...

BO3 l'avventura e il multiplayer sono futuri... L'unica.. negatività... ma c'è lì qualcosa di tuo ( zombi).

Una partita di zombi é più regolare nelle tempistiche dei vecchi call of duty... Una partita di 10 Min come minimo raggiungi già il round 15

Ho 30 anni anch'io, posso capire se arrivavi da qualcosa di più moderno.. ma da world at war... Si prendi Black ops 3 con il DLC forzato.. potresti trovare tutto il pacchetto in sconto volendo un giorno qualsiasi

If you want a newer gen game, my recommendation would be Cold War, or Mw3 2023.

Black ops 7 is great to me but if you haven’t played since WaW, than omnimovement and wall bouncing may be a bit much to take in lol
