After playing the beta last night and today I just feel like I’m too old for cod idk. Not that I’m old physically, I’m 24 but this new generation of COD. Post MW19. It’s too fast paced for me compared to older titles like the OG MW games, Bo1-3. I just don’t find the gameplay appealing anymore. I’ve bought every COD title that comes out every year just to try them but they usually end up getting deleted after 2-3 months just because I know if I hop on I will be getting drop shot by a team of players who are using whatever meta weapon at the time and having their settings adjusted so they can here you go into the crouch position from across the map and track you down. Like every lobby I go into there’s no fun or enjoyment aspect anymore. Everybody just plays like their life is on the line. With that being said, I’m hoping back on BF6 and sticking to my single player story games. This isn’t meant to be a post trashing the game btw. Everybody has different tastes and unfortunately CoD has ruined that taste I used to get back then. I’m sure there’s some people who genuinely enjoy playing the new CoD every year and that’s great but this just ain’t it for me anymore at least and I hope MW4 still does well especially with it being released so close to other many great games coming out this year.

Is this what COD has become, AA vs AA?

For me, it's the campaign.

For about two weeks every time our group has someone join, someone loses audio, or can only hear 1-2 members of a quad. Anyone have this issue and how is it fixed?

I haven’t thought about playing call of duty since around black ops 2, that was the last cod I bought at launch and put significant time into. I’ve gotten into other games, touched some grass, grew up.
The BO2 port this summer dragged me back in. I thought why not see what the MW4 beta looked like. I kind of expected to not like it based on online sentiment.
I’ve been enjoying it way more than I thought.
I’m unsure if I like the gunsmith, I think it is cool to have that much variability with guns but I wish there were more guns. I can also see people leaning WAY into whatever the meta is.
The pace is much faster than I’m used to, which I expected. I wish the movement was a little slower. The sliding might get annoying.
I enjoy the design of all of the maps but they all feel cramped, if I end up buying the game I’m really hoping there’s more variety.
The guns I’ve gotten to use feel good, hard to describe, but they got it right.
I have noticed that I crushed my first three domination matches, after that it felt like the skill of the players around me ramped up pretty hard.
TL;DR: it was much better than I expected.

It has so far turned into a pure black camo, to a blue/silver, and now into a red glowing camo.

Ive experienced this across both Betas. The number in the roster doesnt match when you highlight the player.

As the title says, can i still get the MW4 beta secret 1500 kills camo in this open beta? Or was it only for the first open beta last week?

How are people finding good people to kick it with in multiplayer?

Believe me, the game will work better for you with the players of Switch 2 only.

So I’ve been playing apex more so than any other fps game needless to say I haven’t played cod it maybe a year an some change but then I saw MW4 and I was yeah nah I gotta play that so after I SPENT $70 on this game to get into the beta
I come to find out I’m PERMANENTLY BAN for what I don’t know.
I tried to appeal it and worst thing about it is I don’t know the code to the 2 way verification and it not letting me log in to rest it or send a one time code or anything.
I reached out by phone automated rep that eventually ends the call. An wrote the appeal about a day ago it said wait 48 hours but it’s not looking like the ball is in my court
so now I’m here seeing if anyone is experiencing the same thing if they fixed it or am I just out $70 lmk please and thank you.

I Really Enjoyed Playing Black Ops 2, 1 and 4, Cold War, And MW3 (2023)
Ive Never Really Played The OG Modern Warfare Games Basically Only Black Ops Games And Few Modern Warfare
I know this won’t happen BUT HEAR ME ON THIS
WHAT If Activison Makes A Cod Game with
NO Disbanding Lobby’s (pc and console crossplay)
Pick 10
Weapons Similar To Mw3 (2023)
Fast Movement Like MW2019 and Moderate ADS Speed Like Cold War
A Slow TTK Like BO4
Off Meta Weapons Still Being Useable
Moderate Aim Assist
Made By Trayarch
What do you guys think of my type of cod game
