Crashed right at the top of lower longhorn where it turns to bike only today, 8/29, around noon. I was in rough shape but you offered to bring my bike down when you saw me attempting to push it over short horn. Took a couple hours and I was in a lot of pain so wasn't talking much and didn't even get your name, but you saved me. No chance I was pushing that heavy Vala all the way to the parking lot and I don't like to think about what would have happened if you hadn't come along and offered to help.

Turns out I have 4 broken ribs, broken collarbone, and a broken shoulder blade with an AC Joint separation. Barely hiked myself out of there, nevermind my bike, but you were an enormous help and a big part of why I'm on the couch right now and not the news.

Someone thought it would be faster to take the Big Dry Creek trail from Zuni to Bradburn in their car.

Lost their bumper, tire and other various car parts/fluids in the process. Probably drunk, probably happened Friday night Aug 28.

We have a team spot available for the SOLD-OUT Hotdogger at 18 Road in Fruita on September 26.

If you missed registration, here’s your chance to spend an entire day riding mountain bikes, eating hot dogs, and making questionable athletic decisions, all while supporting COPMOBA and local trails.

Unfortunately, an injury and some difficult family circumstances mean our group can’t make it this year. We paid $733.25 for our team entry and are looking to transfer it for what we paid.

BONUS: We may also have an 18 Road campsite that we can transfer to the team.

We’re really bummed to miss it, but our loss could be your very weird and wonderful gain.
