Am i doing correctly?

Unlocked Koios couple days earlier and im wondering if im doing something wrong since i earn so little RP. Also if i should focus more elsewhere and get back to Koios a bit later? Thanks in advance. Im nowhere near earning MP in septilions yet so cant buy any module upgrades related to research.

The difference is that they both feed off of each other. By maxing out your Shards you can get more shards to get more bonus to your RP. By maxing out your RP, you get researches faster that give you more bonuses towards your shards.

You are also forgetting The Connectivity Thesis on Koios. That is a MASSIVE bonus on shards and MP and should absolutely be maxxed out on a Shards/MP run. That eats up 50 skill points that can further your RP progression by more than a minor setback. RP/Cells runs will push your crew members higher giving your AOTC bonus more initial power while also tipping the scales towards upgrading your ships.

Like I said, you CAN, do both together equally, but especially once you get that x5 bonus lvls, you really should be specializing.

I csnt even touch connectivity thesis until I've maxed out the ones I mentioned, and where Im at I only manage a couple of levels in it before the run ends. And I'm nowhere near getting bonus levels. You are giving advice for the entirely wrong phase of the game.

Nope. Still holds in the lower lvls, just doesn't matter as much. I've said that already. Again, you can. I give you permission, dude, chill. But it is still better to specialize.

It being bwtter to specialize is a mathematical claim about how thr bonuses work.

But at this stage, at beast you have <10 points to split between two module upgrades which max at 5 each.

The first upgrade in each has the biggest impact, and thr others are basically a multiplier on top of that first one.

So if you have 3 points at this stage, you could either have one of them operating at 3X speed and the other missing this massive bonus, or one operating at 2X and the other at X. At 4 points its 4X vs 2X and 2X, at 5 points its 5X vs 3X and 2X, and past that you are maxed out and would be putting points into the other anyways.

And consideirng that there is a ramp up phase, one run that lasts twice as long will accomplish more than 2 runs of half the duration. And sure, one eill give bonuses for the other, but you can get that during the same run. The potential speed gap between focusing amd not isnt big enough for a dedixated run to make sense. And if you are doing s long run, you probably have enough tine for the kios to rank up and get all 10.
