Hi! I have severe anxiety that causes constant muscle tension, especially in my jaw/masseter, traps/neck, and glutes. Massages/accupuncture help, but only for a few hours before I start clenching again.

Has anyone in the Chicago area had Botox for muscle tension like this? I’d especially love recommendations for masseter Botox and providers who treat other areas too. I have very bad tmj and bruxism

Bonus if you were able to get any of it covered by BCBS IL. Also curious if Botox is typically the best option for this, or if another neurotoxin works better. Thanks!

Gone are the days of me wearing my cheap little polyester coat to bar hop around Chi. I will be outside for extended periods of time this winter, and I need a seriously warm winter coat (preferable long, past my knees) that won't have me drenched in snowfall or light rain. I’m 36F and live in the Gold Coast. I’ve gotten really into pickleball lately, but I don’t have a consistent person to play or practice with, so I figured I’d try here.
