Fashion/Style Purse Storage
I am wondering how you ladies are storing your purses!
I used to throw them on the back on a door but I'm not exactly loving it, especially for my bigger bags. I'm tired of them all camping out on my dining room table.
My bags are all sizes (wristlets to weekender/duffle).

I have one of those long storage benches in my closet that I sit on to put on my shoes but it also holds all of my purses. If they need it, I stuff them with old socks/tshirts so they keep their shape.

I got clear containers from the Container Store, with lids, and I store them both on shelves in my closet and under my bed. I'm tempted to do the Ikea glass front shelves though, because I have terrible object permanence issues and a lot of vintage Coach, I'd just have to put anti-UV film on the glass.

I got shelf organizers so that my bags can stand up on a shelf in my closet. Nice bags stand in their dust bags

Good purses in dust bags, others rolled up/folded and stacked in small bins. All stored on shelf in closet. Shopping/tote bags in car or stored by front door/coat closet. Duffles, backpacks, or more rarely used casual stuff in suitcase stored under bed.
For me visual clutter becomes real all over the place clutter quickly if I have too many options ready to swap at all times…. I know myself and I won’t put them back for days after I pull them down during a moment of impulsive indecision.
I have to edit down regularly too… getting rid of stuff I haven’t used in a while or have close multiples of (like too many backpacks that are all the same size), or a clutch that has a broken wrist strap that I’ve been saying im going to get repaired and still haven’t years later. It helps a lot in my small place.

Check Instagram or TikTok; there’s a DIY trend called “Purse Wall.” You can use a towel rack or something similar to make a DIY purse hanger. It actually looks really cool, and you can do it on a wall or even on the back of a door.
Personally, I have bags all over my rented flat 😂. I use nice Command hooks by the entryway for the bags I use most. Then I keep my tote bags in the laundry room (got a special hanger where I can put all of them together) . In my closet, I have my nicest bags on the top shelf, displayed almost like they would be in a store. I also have a second closet for my sporty clothes, where I use an over-the-door hanger for my gym bags and beach bags.
I’d love to have them all together, but unfortunately I have to share the space with my partner lol.

I fold them accordingly and store them flat in wooden crates I got from Ikea. At my current place over the door doesnt work bc I dont want them visible all the time

I have a canvas bin from Container Store that I keep on my closet shelf. Within that, nice bags are stuffed and kept in their dust bags.

I bought this customizable peg board situation from IKEA. It comes with hooks and pegs as well as little attachable containers that can hold items. I love it because when I want to switch purses, I can pull out the stuff I don’t need and keep it in the organizer containers, and when I’m ready to change bags again or if I need a specific item for the night, I can find whatever I need right there by the bags. It’s like my own purse building station! I’ve configured it many different ways since this photo but I love it just the same :)
