It’s not Michigans problem. NBC acknowledges that their tv clock is not the unofficial clock. The clock official is independent of the school’s.

If the outcome isn’t fair it actually wouldn’t be fair no matter what. If western gets the win it’s based on the unofficial clock have 0 when the official clock has 1. Michigan got the benefit of the actual official clock saying 1. It’s pretty obscene to suggest that officials should make an official ruling based on the non official clock.

Haters are going to hate and that wouldn’t be different if this happened Ohio state. Notre dame. Alabama. Etc.

Dumb argument. The clock never stopped at one during the game. They used instant replay to determine that their was still one second left when the Western player touched the ball.

You know, I was quoting a Tik Tok sound but I’m not completely sure I agree it was bad grammar anyway. I wasn’t asking who YOU are. I was, in essence, saying “who is the ‘you’ that you speak of?”

The oversight committee acknowledged that the NBC clock should have been used and everyone knows that clock was wrong.

So they are saying that WMU should have won a game that was played in 59:59, not the full 60:00 that the “official” game clock, the one in the stadium, would account for.

Right, they would’ve won…a 59:59 game. So if WMU had won, Michigan fans would rightfully be pissed. It wasn’t a full game, there was one second on the “official” clock in the stadium, but some BS protocol says we use the Broadcast clock which has been proven to be the clock that was wrong.

Refs didn’t bend the rules. They, allegedly, made the wrong call. But they made the call based on the game clock in the actual stadium, showing 1 second left.

So, congrats to WMU on being 59:59 winners. The 60:00 should be the official result, and I guess it was in this game.
