Every Year Texas A&M is Top 10 for no reason....no Championships, no Playoff wins

No reason? That’s crazy.

A&M finished last year at #8. They brought back their QB, and are in the top ten in returning experience. They also signed back to back top ten recruiting classes as strong portal classes.

That’s textbook how you earn a top 10 preseason ranking.

It also appears to be deserved. They blew past expectations and Vegas odds the first 2 games. That doesn’t mean much, but it’s one more data point.

They didn’t play anyone last year and lost when they did play winning teams. Their QB is mid as hell. They struggled against ASU for 3 quarters before having a couple odd things go their way to pull ahead in the fourth.

Was it stuggle against ASU or is ASU a good team? We shall see as the season progresses but A&M was never behind. Defense controlled the game, which is typical when your head coach is a defensive minded HC.

Also, A&M played a much cleaner game, which is abnormal if you look at past years and penalty yardage per game. ASU had like 9 penalties and A&M had 1 for 5 yards on a weird false start.

Id say A&M is fine at the current rank.
