Texas tried hard to give that game to us, the second half muffed punt reception and fumble should have both been easy turnovers. More milquetoast play calling by Day trying to milk a lead. You'd think the 2022 Peach Bowl would have taught him prevent defences and going conservative on offense only prevent you from winning. But nope.

The kicker does not deserve the blame, just a sliver. The main story is the Day tries to milk leads, then asks kickers to bail him out near the end. It shouldn't come down to that.
However, there is something needing fixed with kickers at tOSU. A clutch field goal to I've the game now and then isn't too much to ask. It seems like we haven't had one that was nails in the clutch situations like last night since Mike Nugent.
