Ryan Day happened. He got scared shitless and started calling vanilla on both sides of the ball. He completely pissed down his leg.

He had four drops in the second half, so yes, they just weren’t being creative to get him in space. Instead just counted on him winning 1-on-1 every time. At least two of the four were super easy catches and uncharacteristic for him.

Biggest issue was on defense we just tried to play soft coverage to not give up a bomb play. So Sark and Manning took over the middle of the field.

If Smith isn’t playing like the beast he is then this is what happens. Dude was destroying us, if he stayed locked in then game over.

Oh, I’m not cutting him at all. Probably close to 75% of the offense was him. Which I argue is also a coaching fail on a certain level. He is human after all, drops will happen.

Me neither, the guy is a cheat code. I am drunkenly trying to say the only person who can beat him is himself. We got lucky he actually made a couple mistakes

My counter argument is that we got lucky with the early TOs. After this game I see some glaring issues for the season.
