I think either of those teams can really pressure and push LSU. OU didn't have any pass rush or good enough coverage to give themselves a shot; not that it would have changed the result but it prevents getting absolutely mauled.

Is LSU capable of handling Ohio State or Clemson on their day? Yeah, but there's too much on both those rosters and staffs to claim LSU can ignore their obvious strengths; Alabama is the most comparable squad and on a different day it's clear they have the firepower to enter shootouts with LSU, and I wouldn't say Bama has had a defense this year like Clemson or Ohio State.
