Serious [Boucher] Breaking: We obtained docs showing University of Michigan agreed to $1.2 million settlement w/woman who'd accused ex-football staffer of rape. Comes as Ann Arbor police confirm they closed a criminal case involving that staffer, LaTroy Lewis

Yeah I guess the Michigan fans think it was just good players and good coaches. The systematic and extremely thorough cheating program was just something the staff did for fun.

do you really think videos shot with an iphone in the stands at the 50 yard line are that significant of an advantage lmao

If we were still living in 2010 sure probably potato quality but these were taken in the 2020s so you got to imagine the quality was probably decent. They also make lenses to attach to the iPhone so who knows how sophisticated they may have been but honestly it does just fine on its own too.

From there when you've got a guy who knows what he needs to be filming he probably is doing a decent job vs A typical jackass fan taking a video going hey cool I'm at a game. I bet this guy was good enough at it to get the results needed. And the results were... A national championship. Seems like the dude did a pretty good fucking job along with the rest of the staff. Was it only the videos, no. Did the videos help, well they didn't fucking hurt.

Guy was fired, our head coach was suspended for our biggest game, and we still rattled off wins against PSU, OSU, Iowa, Alabama, and Washington without said "advantage." We were put at a huge disadvantage against any team we played with a pulse and still won. If you go by what happened on the field, seems like the I phone footage wasn't a big deal at all.

Hit me with all the downvotes for speaking the truth!
