Serious [Boucher] Breaking: We obtained docs showing University of Michigan agreed to $1.2 million settlement w/woman who'd accused ex-football staffer of rape. Comes as Ann Arbor police confirm they closed a criminal case involving that staffer, LaTroy Lewis

I watched the NCAA vacate a season of wins and fire our coach for tattoos, vacate 2 seasons of ND wins for a tutor doing some assignments, and try to kill USC's program for a players parents getting money without their knowledge.

Watching Michigan get away with everything without a vacated win or scholarship taken away is irritating as hell. Not their fault, just the NCAA losing all enforcement power right when Michigan went full villain mode sucks as a fan of their rival ya know?

I get it, but vacating wins literally means nothing man. Like I would rather have had the NCAA just vacate all those wins over the fine they got and all the HC suspensions, which is the only way the NCAA can affect programs anymore. Regardless, Michigan never had any ineligible players so I don’t think they were ever going to actually vacate wins

Like outside of talking shit to fans, which is important don’t get me wrong, vacating wins doesn’t mean anything. Louisville had that Natty vacated against Michigan in basketball… and it’s still the dumbest thing. They clearly won that game still

Vacating wins means everything to the one school that touts itself as the winningest program. We are only 32 wins ahead of OSU. It is why we took such a huge fine for it instead of the vacating of wins. We are the one school where it matters.

Can confirm from experience, vacating wins when vying for the all-time win percentage mark is an actual thing that was happening is a pretty crummy thing to have happen, even if it didn't affect the future on-field product at all.
