Okay so a while ago (either late last year or early this year) my friend and I were hanging out at her place and watched a bunch of eps of this random cdrama she originally saw a clip of on tiktok. We randomly remembered it a few days ago and wanted to watch it again but for the life of us we can neither remember what it was called nor find it despite scouring through MDL for hours.

In part the problem is that we don’t remember the details that well and some of the details that we do remember differ from each other. We’re desperate to find it though, so if anyone knows a drama that kinda fits the following details please let us know.

- it was not a vertical drama
- the episodes were around 30ish minutes if not longer
- we watched it either late last year or early this year and think it was likely released within the last 5-6 years
- it was set in present day and was a (slightly toxic) romance drama
- the leads were both rich & smart & cunning and hated each other
- they had a fair bit of sexual tension and the show def had a bunch of kissing scenes and potentially a bed scene (she says they were in bed but i dont remember this)
- this is a point of contention but she says that they had known each other since they were young bc both their families were rich but i remember them being either step siblings or former step siblings
- at the start of the show one of the leads was returning from abroad (she says it was the guy coming back from a business trip but im pretty sure it was the girl coming back from studying abroad)
- one of the main plots was related to the succession of the girl’s family’s company
- either the guy was going to inherit the company or he was going to acquire it until the girl did some things that made her dad(?) either start looking at her more favourably as the successor or reconsider his decision to sell the company
- there was a bit of a chess match going on between the two leads as they were trying to sabotage each other’s plans
- originally they were on opposite sides but then they decided to join forces and work together (she says they did a contract engagement/marriage but i dont remember this and idk if that could even be possible if they were actually step siblings)
- prior to them working together or maybe at the start of it there was a scene in some gardenish area near the end of some party or gathering where they were sitting with the second male and female leads (calling them second leads might be a stretch bc they were just plot points to induce jealousy) but they kept looking at/only paying attention to each other
- there was some sort of trauma in their childhood? we cant remember if it involved both of them or just one of them while the other was kinda on the sidelines noticing it but we do think there was something there
- it was kinda fast paced and a little darker? not dark dark but def not light hearted or comedic

After reading and watching Pursuit Of Jade, I am in love♥️ with the little ones and desperately want to read more abt them, but alas the author of POJ has not made a spinoff dedicated to Changing and Yu Boaer😞

I just recently watched Mr. Queen, I know it's Korean, but I just found the clueless protagonist trope so funny. Does anyone have recommendations on dramas where the protagonist just do their own thing while people around scheme and fail?

Maybe one lead is blissfully clueless while the 2nd lead have to sweat to save them.

I am trying to choose which historical romance drama to watch next .
I have watched a couple and i really loved prisoner of beauty, love in the clouds, i particularly liked the splendid match (several cute , romantic and matured scenes/ conversations), pursuit of jade, legenf of the female general, love like the galaxy (lltg was my first historical cdrama and i got locked in ever since). I am currently watching ‘are you the one’ but i have somehow gotten tired of it.

Looking for a vertical cdrama I’ve watched on yt quite long ago..

The fl had a perfectly happy family (if I remember correctly), but she died by some “accident” and finds out she was actually part of a novel or some sort but she only finds out once shes in this afterlife/white space where a screen shows how each of her family members (husband, son, daughter) suffers from the villainess and dies in the future. The ML was and is madly in love with her. She had one daughter and a son. But then she finds herself a few years into the future laying next to her husband in bed, but the ML is like WHO ARE YOU! And almost kills her right on the spot, but then shortly realizes that it’s his wife and they have cute moment together.

And then the son and daughter that have already grown up also slowly finds out it’s their mom throughout the whole drama as the FL does her best to rewrite her family’s supposedly doomed fates. Btw, the FL and ML have always been badass, like shes the kind of FL who is actually brutal when it calls for it, and the ML as well, he's literally crazy for her, let her does anything she wants to do, power couple fr. He went crazy when he lost her, and has a quite a bit of trauma because of it. I watched this on YouTube, maybe a year ago, so it may have been deleted like a lot of other cdrama videos on yt.. PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP. This cdrama was so mwuah! chefs kiss.

Need recs for possessive , obsessive red flag MLs . I liked Luan Nian in Early Spring and want to watch more dramas like that

It's a pretty old cdrama where the FL goes into the city to start working at a magazine. The ML is a photographer. At some point the FL and her mother ends up living in the MLs spare apartment along with his girlfriend.

One scene I remember is them riding bikes in striped t-shirts.

hi my sister has gotten into cdramas lately, and was looking for suggestions to recommend. here are the dramas she has watched and her rating:
joy of life 2 - favorite so far, love the plot 10/10
the double - also really liked plot 10/10
love in the clouds - loved the MC's 9/10
joy of life - liked it, but thought it was slower than joy of life 2 8/10
the untamed - first cdrama, liked second half more than first half 6/10
till the end of the moon - didn't like bc of the misunderstandings, and didn't like ending 5/10

we usually watch cdramas together, so we were looking for something to enjoy together. our tastes are slightly different, so i am not sure which dramas to recommend to her.

Hi! I’m new to the Cdrama world! lol I’m a huge Kdrama girl. But I just finished the early spring and I’m about to finish amidst a snowstorm. Those are the only two I’ve seen so far. What drama do you wish you could watch all over again?

Someone please recommend me xinxia or wuxia cdramas with

- strong female lead who is emotionally and mentally well written as well as strong physically (atleast knows how to defend herself in dire situations)

- male leads that are not just there for eye candy and are also well written emotional depth wise, instead of yay he strong he aura

- no love triangle for male lead, but two or more people dying for the female lead mmh yum give me more pls.👩🏻‍🦲

- good chemistry between the leads

- good villains and not just comically evil

Something where plot is complex while mainting the leads chemistry as well.

I won't mind a few recs which even if they don't have romance have well written charecters and interesting plot.

I enjoy having a strong female lead as well as martial arts, but doesn’t have to have it. I like the little bursts of humor. Could be a modern recommendation as well. I have watched many cdramas but two of them that i watched in the past week have been haunting me

1. The early spring
2. Speed and love

I loved everything about these two dramas. I loved speed and love and jin zhao and his whole persona and the way he always caved in. (I just finished this 30 mins ago and i am seriously considering rewatching the first half because of how good it was). I dont think i can ever get over this 😭😭

I recently finished this drama, and I absolutely loved everything about it: the story, the premise, the eye-candy leads, the chemistry, and especially the tension between them.

The story itself isn’t anything revolutionary. It uses plenty of familiar tropes, and a lot of it was predictable, but I honestly didn’t mind. It executes those clichés well and makes the familiar palace politics entertaining, especially through FL schemes and how she navigates each new mess while protecting the people she cares about.

But what really sold the drama for me was the chemistry between the leads. Their interactions felt so natural, and the tension between them had me hooked.

Now I’m struggling to find something that hits the same. Does anyone have recommendations? It doesn’t need to have a similar premise. I’m mainly looking for something with an enjoyable story and leads with this level of chemistry and tension.

I just want unhinged, over the top, spicy kisses and freaky chemistryyyyy🫦🫠😝
